Pat joined the Augie's Quest Bash Committee in 2007. Having enrolled over 400 Atlantic Club Staff and Members
to participate in a program she created in 2005. "Clubs for the Cure", raised over $1,000,000 for the Avon
Breast Cancer Organization. In 2007, Pat saw an opportunity to create a grassroots program, using the same
CFTC template to bring together members of the fitness industry to help raise awareness and much needed funds
to support industry leader and friend, Augie Nieto's Quest. In 2007, CFTC became "Clubs for the Quest", and
eight years later, almost 200.000 fitness locations have raised almost $5,000,000 to support Augie's Quest.
During that time, the two Atlantic Clubs have raised almost $500,000 for Augie's Quest by demonstrating the
"Power of One"! That is One Club offering One Event for One Hour to their Members and Community to help One
man's Quest to find a cure for ALS. In 2008 Pat was honored to receive the Lou Gehrig Humanitarian of the
Year Award, and later was appointed by MDA to be a National Vice President. Club Industry awarded Pat the
prestigious "International Community Service Award" for her tireless efforts in bringing together Health and
Fitness clubs across the world the opportunity to become involved in one united industry effort, Augie's
"Clubs for the Quest is both simple and powerful! Hosting an event at your club has the ability to
strengthen the relationships of staff-members, and members-members. A CFTQ event can raise much needed
funds to help find a cure for ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease.
Who? – A Club Owner volunteers to have their club host an event or a Fitness Director, Instructor,
Personal Trainer or any Staff member can request permission to conduct a CFTQ event at their club or
What? – Dedicate One Hour, One Event, to support One Man's Quest, to find the cause and a cure for ALS!
That event can be a Spinning, Zumba,Yoga or Boot Camp class, or any One Hour Group Exercise class that
will enroll your Members in having fun together while their small donations help make a difference! All
donations go directly to Augie's Quest-ALS/TDI Research in Boston, Mass.

available to coach your CFTQ Team.
